01

Contact Maimun before returning anything

Start by contacting the Maimun team with the inquiry reference and details of the concern. This allows the team to identify the supplied product, confirm the relevant records and provide the correct handling instructions.

Products returned without prior agreement may be difficult to identify or assess and may not be accepted at the receiving location.

02

Information that helps the review

Provide enough information for the team to understand what happened and which products are affected.

  • The inquiry reference and date of supply or collection.
  • Product name, quantity and available batch, lot or expiry information.
  • A description of the damage, error, defect or quality concern.
  • Clear photographs of the product, label, packaging and any visible damage where relevant.
  • How the product was transported, opened, handled and stored after handover.
03

Issues that may be reviewed

Maimun will review reports involving incorrect products or quantities, damage identified at or soon after handover, suspected defects, or other concerns about whether the confirmed supply was met.

The available remedy depends on the evidence, product condition, applicable product requirements and the circumstances of supply.

04

Food and ingredient safety

Because many catalogue items are food ingredients or preparation supplies, opened, used, altered, contaminated or improperly stored products may not be suitable for resale or return.

This restriction does not remove any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including where a confirmed defect or supply error is established.

05

Product condition and packaging

Unless the concern itself prevents it, keep the affected product unused, secure and in its original packaging. Do not remove labels, batch information or tamper-evident features.

Follow any storage and handling instructions while the matter is being reviewed.

06

Possible outcomes

After review, Maimun may arrange an inspection, replacement, correction of quantity, return, account credit, refund where applicable, or another reasonable resolution.

The outcome and method will be confirmed directly. A return request does not automatically guarantee a specific remedy before the facts have been assessed.

07

Collection or return arrangements

If a physical return is required, Maimun will provide the receiving location or coordinate collection where agreed. Responsibility for transport will be determined according to the reason for the return and the confirmed arrangement.

Package products securely and include the reference information requested by the team.

08

Your statutory rights

This policy is intended to explain Maimun’s review process. It does not limit rights or remedies that apply under Kenyan law and cannot lawfully be excluded.
