Clear terms for a clear inquiry.
These terms explain how the Maimun catalogue, customer accounts and inquiry process work. The website supports product discovery and communication; it does not collect online payment.
About this website
This website is operated for Maimun Supplies LLP and provides a catalogue, customer account features, announcement information, contact forms and product inquiry tools.
By using the website, you agree to these terms and the policies referenced on it. If you do not agree, do not submit information or use the account and inquiry services.
Catalogue information
Maimun aims to present product names, images, descriptions, pack information and other catalogue details clearly. Images may be illustrative and screens can display colours differently.
Product specifications, packaging, availability and catalogue information may change. Confirm any detail that is important to your application before relying on it.
Product inquiries are not automatic orders
Adding products to the inquiry cart or submitting the checkout form sends a request for review. It does not automatically reserve stock, charge you, dispatch products or create a completed supply agreement.
A supply arrangement is formed only when the relevant products, quantities, pricing, tax treatment, fulfilment and any other material terms have been confirmed between you and Maimun.
Pricing, tax and quotations
Any catalogue price, estimate or previous quotation may be indicative unless Maimun confirms otherwise. Final pricing can depend on product, pack, quantity, customer type, tax treatment, availability and fulfilment requirements.
A quotation may have its own validity period and conditions. Where those confirmed terms differ from general website information, the confirmed quotation or supply communication governs that transaction.
Availability and substitutions
Catalogue visibility does not guarantee that a product or requested quantity is immediately available. Maimun may confirm partial availability, a lead time, an alternative pack or a possible substitute.
No substitution will be treated as accepted unless it is communicated and agreed through the relevant supply arrangement.
Accurate customer information
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, business, invoicing, destination and product requirement details. Inform Maimun promptly if important information changes.
You must have authority to submit an inquiry or enter a supply arrangement on behalf of any business or other organisation you name.
Customer accounts and security
Keep account credentials confidential and use an email address you control. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Maimun may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, maintain security or comply with legal obligations.
Delivery and collection
Delivery or collection timing, cost, destination and handover arrangements are confirmed directly after review. Please read the Delivery and Collection Policy for the general process.
Any dates or times provided before final confirmation are estimates and can be affected by product preparation, carrier availability, access and circumstances outside reasonable control.
Product suitability, use and storage
You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for the intended purpose and for following the applicable label, specification, dosage, storage, handling, allergen and safety information.
For business use or repacking, you are also responsible for the legal, quality-control and labelling requirements that apply to your own activities.
Returns, defects and complaints
Contact Maimun promptly if the confirmed supply is incorrect, damaged or raises a suspected quality concern. The Returns and Product Issues Policy explains the review process.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Kenyan law.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website, interfere with its security or availability, submit false or unlawful information, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the service in a harmful manner or use it to infringe another person’s rights.
Automated or abusive activity may be limited or blocked to protect the website and its users.
Intellectual property
The website design, Maimun branding, catalogue presentation, original text, graphics and other protected material belong to Maimun or the relevant rights holder.
You may use the website for legitimate product discovery and inquiry purposes. No ownership rights are transferred, and commercial republication or misleading use requires permission.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to maps, messaging tools, delivery providers or other third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
A link does not by itself mean that Maimun controls or endorses every statement, feature or practice of the external service.
Website availability
Maimun may maintain, update, suspend or change parts of the website. Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
Responsibility and applicable limits
Each party remains responsible for obligations that apply to it under the confirmed supply arrangement and applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Maimun is not responsible for loss caused by unauthorised website use, reliance on unconfirmed catalogue information, misuse or improper storage of products, or events outside reasonable control.
Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. That policy explains the types of data collected, why it is used, how it may be shared and the choices available to you.
Changes, governing law and contact
These terms may be updated when the service, business process or legal requirements change. The date shown on this page identifies the current published version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If you have a question or complaint, contact Maimun first so the matter can be reviewed directly.
